Are you a Wizard of Oz Fan and always wanted to know about what goes on behind the scenes in your hometown Wizard of Oz Festival---well here’s your chance. Lakeshore Festival & Events, Inc. is calling for volunteers to assist the festival planning team as a member of the Junior Committee. Junior Committee members assist the festival chairmen as they roll out the Friday Night Festival Grand Opening, the Oz Festival Parade, Munchkin Autograph Sessions, Lunch with the Costumed Characters, Breakfast with the Munchkins, and assist in manning the downtown information/souvenir booths. If you are a high school student age 15 – 19 and are available on September 16, 17, 18 and available for a minimum of four committee meetings, the fourth Tuesday of the month from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. we need you. Earn community volunteer credits to help meet your scholastic requirements, meet the Munchkins and Celebrities and help your fellow committee members roll out the largest and best Wizard of Oz Festival in the United States.
